Job summary

Cumberland Dairy is seeking a General Manager to oversee profit and loss, drive strategic business planning, and manage sales, marketing, manufacturing and distribution. The role requires leadership to achieve KPIs and net income goals across a single business line, with accountability for day-to-day operations and growth initiatives.

The GM will steer operating plans, pricing strategies, and market positioning while collaborating with production, marketing, and logistics teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 12+ years in manufacturing with profit and loss responsibilities
• 4+ years of people management including senior managers and multiple departments
• Proven track record of improved results in quality, safety, service and cost
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision making to attain profitable results
• Develop and manage the operating plan to meet/exceed objectives; project financial impact and adjust as needed
• Establish pricing strategies to maximize operating income; analyze cost drivers
• Partner with operations, marketing, and distribution to optimize production and go-to-market
• Lead cross-functional projects and ensure execution of continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage business risk and legal considerations in decisions
• Communicate goals and align objectives with organizational goals
• Mentor and develop managers and direct reports for succession planning
• Lead with positive culture, motivate employees, and drive performance
• Other duties as required by the business
