Job summary

The Edge Fitness Clubs in Orland Hills is seeking a Club Manager to lead daily operations, drive financial performance, and ensure exceptional member experiences.

You will oversee Membership Sales, Front Desk, Personal Training, Edge Kids, Group Exercise and Maintenance while upholding the company’s mission and culture. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for fitness are essential.
• Related health club leadership experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed.
• Attention to detail supports operations and member satisfaction.
• Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Thrives in a customer-focused team setting.
• Leadership capabilities across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operational and financial performance of the club, including profitability and asset management.
• Maintain managerial oversight for all departments and communicate with department heads.
• Model and enforce the company’s mission, values, and culture.
• Collaborate with department heads on staff hiring decisions.

What You Will DO:

• You are responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the club, including profitability, asset management, accounting compliance, member satisfaction, sales, personnel training and employee development.
• You maintain managerial oversight for all departments (Membership Sales, Front Desk Personnel, Personal Training, Edge Kids, Group Exercise and Maintenance) and communicates regularly with department heads regarding the performance of each department
• You understand the company's Mission Statement, core values and overall culture of the business, leading by example and holding all employees accountable to The spirit of The Edge
• You work closely with department heads on making the decision to hire all staff at the club
