Job summary

The Edge Fitness Clubs LLC in Crystal Lake is seeking an energetic club leader to oversee operations and financial performance, including profitability, asset management, and member satisfaction.

You will supervise Membership Sales, Front Desk, Personal Training, Edge Kids, Group Exercise and Maintenance, set standards, and hire staff in collaboration with department heads.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a health club or similar setting.
• Strong communication and staff development capabilities.
• Ability to drive profitability and member satisfaction.
• Comfortable managing multiple departments and staff levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operational and financial performance of the club, including profitability, asset management, accounting compliance, member satisfaction, sales, personnel training and employee development.
• Maintain managerial oversight for all departments (Membership Sales, Front Desk Personnel, Personal Training, Edge Kids, Group Exercise and Maintenance) and communicate with department heads.
• Lead by example, uphold company values and culture, and ensure staff accountability to The Edge spirit.
• Collaborate with department heads on hiring staff at the club.

What You Will DO:

• You are responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the club, including profitability, asset management, accounting compliance, member satisfaction, sales, personnel training and employee development.
• You maintain managerial oversight for all departments (Membership Sales, Front Desk Personnel, Personal Training, Edge Kids, Group Exercise and Maintenance) and communicates regularly with department heads regarding the performance of each department
• You understand the company's Mission Statement, core values and overall culture of the business, leading by example and holding all employees accountable to The spirit of The Edge
• You work closely with department heads on making the decision to hire all staff at the club
