Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks a General Manager to plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client typically generating $2-15M+ in revenue. You’ll lead operations across food service, facility support, custodial, retail, lodging, and transportation, with a focus on safety and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements.
• Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability leading through other managers.
• Experience creating and managing a department budget, financial controls and analysis.
• Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services with hands-on execution management.
• Manages client and community relationships, assesses operations, and develops plans to optimize service and satisfaction.
• Builds, develops, and leads a management team capable of carrying out objectives.
• Recommends methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on contract obligations.
• In partnership with Finance, manages a budget and helps design improvements to optimize financial performance.
• Manages compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintains records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with Aramark standards of operation including safety and business conduct.
