Job summary

FastTrack Staffing in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a General Manager for a well-established manufacturing firm. You will own the Profit & Loss, manage budgets, and guide strategic capital plans to enhance market share and production goals.

You will lead daily operations across welding, assembly, scheduling, warehousing, and supplier relationships, driving Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery while developing talent and upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Industrial Management preferred.
• 10+ years of management experience in sales and production.
• Strong financial literacy, P&L management, and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitability and budget management with annual plan.
• Lead daily production across welding, assembly, purchasing, scheduling and warehousing.
• Establish Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement culture.
• Set sales targets and strategic goals, collaborate with marketing.
• Ensure on-time delivery and manage key accounts and supplier relationships.
• Ensure OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train, and mentor department heads and staff.
