The Hopewell Inn seeks a Full-Time General Manager with strong leadership and customer service skills. Candidate must be available to work weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays in a busy restaurant environment.

Role involves overseeing all restaurant duties, inventory, staff coaching, reservations, and maintaining logs. Competitive benefits and training provided.

• Monitor and maintain store inventory pars alongside the Executive Chef
• Maintain a very clean work environment
• Monitor day-to-day events of restaurant
• Record all deliveries and any errors
• Coach and support new and existing staff members
• Oversee the closing of the till and restaurant
• Weekly trip to the bank
• Oversee reservations and ensure they are confirmed and prepared

Essential Functions

• Oversee and perform all duties of the restaurant
• Monitor and maintain store inventory pars alongside the Executive Chef
• Maintain a very clean work environment
• Monitor day-to-day events of restaurant
• Record all deliveries (paper, produce etc.) and any errors
• Coach and support new and existing staff members
• Oversee the closing of the till and restaurant
• Weekly trip to the bank
• Oversee reservations and work with Assistant Manager to make sure all reservations are confirmed and prepared for.
• Maintain all temperature logs, waste and inventory sheets
• Make sure all employees follow company policies and guidelines
• Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff
