Job summary

Visionworks in Pompton Plains, NJ, is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations, drive profitability, and ensure a simple, human patient journey from appointment to eyewear pickup. You will guide a service-driven team, set and exceed financial goals, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver great eyewear experiences.

Candidates need 3+ years of related experience, a HS diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), and optical management experience is a plus; licensed GMs must hold a current

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of related experience required.
• Optical management experience preferred.
• Licensed GMs must have a current State Opticians License.

Responsibilities

• Maximize store profitability without compromising patient experience by meeting financial goals.
• Engage with the Doctor to discuss business needs, associates and patient experience.
• Plan daily operations by managing traffic, appointments and eyewear services.
• Hire, train, coach and develop store associates to deliver excellent service.
• Resolve obstacles in patient experience when needed.
• Lead and improve all operational activities to meet goals.
