Job summary

Zaxbys LLC is seeking a General Manager in Gainesville, FL to lead daily restaurant operations, develop staff, and drive sales while maintaining high standards of service and cost control. The GM will shape culture, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess leadership qualities and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with others and lead a team.
• Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week.
• Background check and motor vehicle report required.
• Restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop the team according to the General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class.
• Maintain staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top performers.
• Drive sales and control labor costs through effective scheduling and management.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
• Create and maintain a positive culture and lead by example for the team.
• Oversee profitability and ensure compliance with guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Handle guest and team member concerns in a timely, friendly manner.
