Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a hands-on General Manager for a growing private restaurant group in Fishers, Indiana. You will lead all facets of operations and financial performance in a high-volume, upscale casual concept with scratch kitchen and craft beverages.

You will build and coach a strong leadership team, nurture guest relations and community ties, and own the P&L while executing company standards and local strategies.

Qualifications

• Current or recent General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service scratch restaurant.
• Upscale or polished casual restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience leading both FOH and BOH operations.
• Strong P&L and financial management experience.
• Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining restaurant leaders and hourly teams.
• Experience driving sales, controlling costs, and improving restaurant performance.
• Strong hospitality mindset with an engaging, visible leadership style.
• Comfortable operating within a structured, systems-oriented environment.
• Ability to build relationships with guests and the local community.
• Ability to complete the required 6–8 weeks of out-of-market training.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH performance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a strong restaurant leadership team.
• Build a culture of hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Own restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and controllable expenses.
• Use financial and operating results to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Ensure consistent execution of company systems, procedures, and operating standards.
• Build relationships within the local community and support initiatives that drive restaurant awareness and sales.
• Partner with regional leadership while maintaining ownership and accountability for restaurant results.
