D2B Groups LLC is hiring a Boiler Controls Technician to service the greater Los Angeles market. The role covers boiler rooms and plant floors across manufacturing, healthcare, and commercial accounts, acting as the technical authority on burner management and combustion controls.

You will work independently, travel within the territory, and collaborate with sales and project teams while maintaining safety and quality in every site visit.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hands-on boiler/combustion controls or burner service on industrial boilers.
• Solid experience with flame safeguard and burner management platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Fireye, Siemens).
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills: read ladder logic, schematics, and use a multimeter.
• Familiarity with combustion analyzers and interpreting their data.
• Comfort around gas trains, high-pressure steam, and energized equipment with safety discipline.
• Customer-facing professionalism; you are the company face in boiler rooms.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and commission burner management systems on industrial boilers.
• Perform combustion tuning and analysis to optimize efficiency and emissions.
• Diagnose and program PLC- and HMI-based controls, including lead/lag sequencing.
• Execute retrofits and upgrades, replacing obsolete flame safeguard components.
• Conduct startups and commissioning, including loop checks and safety interlocks.
• Respond to emergency service calls and participate in on-call rotation.
• Document service activities clearly with findings and actions taken.
• Advise customers on reliability, efficiency, and code compliance.
