The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of leadership experience, is a self-starter, and excels in driving sales while fostering a positive team environment. As a General Manager in Training (GMIT), you will focus on front desk operations, client experience, and sales performance, with a clear pathway to future management roles. Promotions depend on market growth, role availability, and performance, with the goal of developing leadership internally. As a General Manager in Training, your responsibilities include:
- Achieving performance goals such as Membership Conversion, Booking Efficiency, Call Conversion, and Gift Card Sales
- Leading the front desk team to exceed sales and performance targets
- Providing exceptional guest experiences, measured by Service Level Standard scores
- Managing daily front desk operations
- Supporting General Manager in overall business management
- Training, monitoring, and coaching team members
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training new front desk staff
- Educating clients on services and enhancements
- Promoting sales, promotions, and events
- Maintaining spa cleanliness standards
- Handling administrative tasks such as sales reporting, register operations, and cash handling
The GMIT schedule varies, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays; flexible availability is preferred.
Role Requirements:
- Passion for people and excellent service
- Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Willingness to travel for training or conferences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fast learner with a positive attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs/Sheets; knowledge of Zenoti or similar is a plus
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Critical thinking and customer conflict resolution skills
