Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa South Park, located at 4310 Sharon Rd X11, Charlotte, NC 28211, is seeking a dynamic Spa Leader! The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of leadership experience, is a self-starter, and excels in driving sales while fostering a positive team environment. As a General Manager in Training (GMIT), you will focus on front desk operations, client experience, and sales performance, with a clear pathway to future management roles. There is no fixed timeline for promotion; opportunities depend on market growth, role availability, and performance. Your journey includes ongoing sales coaching, training, and opportunities for advancement into leadership roles.Compensation Package: We offer a competitive package with a base hourly rate, uncapped commissions, and bonuses. GMITs earn an average annual compensation of up to $45,000, depending on performance.
As a General Manager in Training, you will
  • Achieve performance goals such as Membership Conversion, Booking Efficiency, Call Conversion, and Gift Card Sales
  • Lead the front desk team to exceed sales and performance targets
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience, measured by Service Level Standard scores
  • Manage daily front desk operations
  • Assist the General Manager in overall business management
  • Train, monitor, and coach team members
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training new front desk staff
  • Maintain knowledge of our service menu and educate clients
  • Promote sales, promotions, and events passionately
  • Ensure spa cleanliness standards
  • Handle administrative functions like sales reporting, register operations, and cash handling
The GMIT schedule varies, including weekends, daytime, evening, and holiday shifts, with flexible availability preferred.

Role Requirements
  • Passion for customer service and people

  • Occasional travel for training or conferences
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fast learner with a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs/Sheets; knowledge of Zenoti is a plus

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking
  • Critical thinking, including conflict resolution
