Job summary

Linn Companies Inc is seeking a General Manager in Training to learn all aspects of running a Holiday StationStore and will be placed at a location as opportunities arise. During training you will support locations with workflow, scheduling, and procedures, and you will work with the Sales Support Manager to provide high‑level support.

After placement you may move to different stores as needed. As General Manager in Training you will be directed to work at different locations from day to day

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of retail management experience.
• Ability to manage others in high-volume locations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong customer-service focus, store cleanliness, and attention to detail.
• Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Flexible schedule with willingness to travel to multiple stores.

Responsibilities

• Implement consistent procedures across The LINN Companies and Holiday.
• Lead on-the-job training for new managers.
• Address manager and employee concerns professionally and confidentially.
• Fill in for management during vacations or absences.
• Assist with store meetings.
• Schedule labor to meet budgets and monitor payroll hours.
• Assist in hiring needs for stores.
• Monitor ordering and product layout to optimize profitability.
