Job Overview

Manager in Training (MIT) – a developmental role that prepares you for future leadership responsibilities in the fitness industry.

This program provides a structured onboarding experience, hands‑on operational exposure, and sales leadership training over a 6‑week period for external candidates and 4 weeks for internal candidates.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured onboarding program focused on sales leadership development.
• Gain hands‑on experience in gym operations, including scheduling, reporting, data analysis, and daily activity planning.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Shadow gym managers to learn day‑to‑day leadership practices and oversee team collaboration.
• Support sales initiatives such as membership sales, upselling, and achievement of key performance indicators.
• Actively contribute to operational excellence and customer service by upholding company standards.
• Potentially step into acting managerial roles for a day or shift under supervision as part of hands‑on learning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience of at least 6 months in a leadership role, preferably in fitness or customer service.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to inspire and collaborate with teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for fitness and willingness to grow professionally.
• Valid background check clearance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Salary
