Henderson Group is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of a new steakhouse in Southport, CT. You will oversee front- and back-of-house teams, establish service standards, and partner with ownership to set the foundation for a premier dining destination.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can build a guest-focused culture from day one and drive a memorable bar and dining experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as General Manager or senior leader in high-volume, full-service dining.
• Track record of delivering excellent guest experiences and financial performance.
• Experience with restaurant openings is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations to maintain top hospitality standards.
• Collaborate with ownership to launch the steakhouse and set market leadership.
• Recruit, train, and mentor front- and back-of-house teams.
• Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability and professionalism.
• Enhance sales through memorable guest experiences and vibrant bar atmosphere.
• Manage labor, inventory, and financial controls to optimize profitability.
• Maintain high service standards and restaurant aesthetics.
• Develop guest relationships and cultivate a loyal clientele.
• Coordinate with culinary team to ensure seamless operations.
• Lead by example with a strong on-floor presence.
