Shaner Hotels is seeking a General Manager for the Hampton Inn Hershey Near the Park. The role oversees all hotel operations, drives sales and profitability, and leads a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has extensive hospitality leadership, knowledge of budgeting, and proficiency with hotel systems; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. This on-site position offers an opportunity to contribute to a busy Hershey area property within the Shaner Hotels portfolio.

Competenze

• Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
• High school graduate; college degree in hospitality management or business preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and cost controls.
• Working knowledge of all hotel departments.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge of the property management system.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

• Manage all hotel operations and procedures in accordance with corporate policies and franchise standards.
• Lead the sales team to develop the property’s sales and marketing efforts; recruit, motivate, and inspire the hotel team.
• Serve as a hands-on operator for the hotel and a visible leader in the community.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and high performance in service, cleanliness and profitability.
• Maintain standards for safety, staff performance, and operating procedures.
• Drive profitability and monitor budgets to meet objectives.
