Job summary

DH Pace Company, a family-owned leader in doors, docking and security products, seeks a General Manager in Tempe, AZ. You will oversee operations, drive revenue growth across service, aftermarket and new construction, and manage a growing customer base with strong staff leadership.

You will be responsible for budgeting, financial performance, process improvements, and staff development, ensuring high customer service standards and safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years’ experience managing personnel, P&L, budgets, projects, materials ordering, sales and customer service in a leadership position.
• Proficient with Windows based programs and ERP/CRM systems and a good understanding/use of Excel.
• Analytical skills to evaluate operational data, processes, financial results, survey feedback and other metrics to determine cause/effect relationships.
• Ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and management meetings.

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions with full P&L responsibility.
• Make recommendations for operational and sales process improvements and implement to increase customer satisfaction while maintaining healthy profit margins.
• Lead staff through coaching, performance reviews and daily management of operations.
• Oversee scheduling, troubleshooting and problem resolutions in technical areas.
• Promote safe work culture and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Use division financial reports and metrics to manage daily operations.
• Hire, train and develop employees and manage performance reviews.
• Lead meetings, set expectations and hold employees accountable.
• Maintain professional communication with personnel and customers and resolve escalated concerns.
