Job summary

Transdev North America in Miami, FL is seeking a General Manager to lead operations, ensure safe and reliable service, supervise staff, manage assets, and drive financial performance.

You will develop budgets, oversee regulatory compliance (EPA, OSHA, DOT, ADA, EEOC), build client relationships, and mentor teams to improve efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction across the location.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years fleet management or maintenance leadership experience.
• Light/Duty and/or Heavy-Duty Vehicle Repair maintenance experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; computer literate with Excel and Word.
• Proven ability to build relationships with supervisors, peers and subordinates.
• Track record in managing budgets and/or P&L.

Responsibilities

• Oversees administrative functions, information systems, parts purchasing, and inventory control.
• Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements (EPA, OSHA, DOT, ADA, EEOC).
• Manages budgets and forecasts; improves operational efficiencies.
• Maintains assets (vehicles, facilities, equipment) and coordinates training.
• Leads and motivates teams; develops location and company initiatives.
• Interfaces with agencies, directors, and employees at all levels; ensures safe operations.
