Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a strategic General Manager to lead the Debit Card Products portfolio with full P&L accountability. You will define and deliver a best-in-class portfolio that drives engagement, loyalty, and long-term value while meeting enterprise risk and return expectations.

Reporting to the head of Proprietary Products, you will align Product, Relationship and Technology to grow the business with client-focused digital capabilities and seamless experiences across the U.S. Bank ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience managing large scale consumer financial products with full P&L accountability.
• Proven track record of building and transforming product portfolios at scale.
• Deep expertise in customer centric product design, digital experiences, and lifecycle management.
• Strong business judgment balancing growth, risk, and return objectives.
• Experience leading cross functional teams across product, marketing, risk, technology, finance and operations.
• Proven ability to hire and develop diverse leaders who lead through change.
• Executive presence and ability to influence senior management.

Responsibilities

• Full Portfolio & P&L Ownership for the Debit Portfolio including bank branded, affinity and sponsorship products.
• Lead the design and execution of a next generation debit card product/value proposition.
• Develop compelling benefits and experiences across spending, borrowing, and redemption.
• Drive platform modernization and scalability of loyalty platforms.
• Grow new customer acquisition with streamlined onboarding and onboarding experiences.
• Design a digital first customer experience with a mobile-led approach.
• Increase products per customer and deepen relationships across the U.S. Bank ecosystem.
• Maintain servicing excellence and improve customer advocacy scores.
