Job summary

LifeWorks Restaurant Group, an independently operated division of Aramark in New York, seeks a General Manager to plan and guide multiple contracted services for a high-revenue client. The role emphasizes strong leadership, financial acumen, and safety compliance to deliver exceptional service and client satisfaction.

The role oversees food service, facilities, custodial, retail, and lodging operations with a focus on profitable growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities or Business Management.
• Strong client & customer service focus; entrepreneurial mindset for growing business.
• Savvy interpersonal skills for communication with clients and senior management.
• Ability to read and implement contractual requirements and identify opportunities.
• Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead through other managers and manage a department budget.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services and hands-on execution management.
• Manages client and community relationships at the location to meet objectives and satisfaction.
• Builds and leads a management team capable of achieving organizational goals.
• Recommends methods and resources for service improvement and growth based on contractual obligations.
• Manages a budget with Finance and assists in financial improvements.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations and records.
• Adheres to Aramark's standards of operation and safety policies.
