Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. in Texas seeks a General Manager of Construction Technology to lead strategic initiatives across construction regions, partnering with operational leaders, technology experts, and manufacturers to accelerate adoption of advanced equipment and software.

You will drive growth, mentor teams, and build industry partnerships with Topcon, John Deere Construction & Forestry, Wingtra, and Trimble to ensure outstanding customer outcomes across the field.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Industry expertise in construction technology, heavy equipment, or related field (10+ years).
• Location and travel flexibility with ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and business acumen.
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S.

What You Will Need:

• Proven leadership experience: Previous supervisory or management experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Industry expertise: 10+ years of construction technology, heavy equipment, or related industry experience preferred.
• Location and travel flexibility: This position may be located within any of RDO Equipment Co.'s Construction regions. Preference will be given to candidates located within 45 minutes of a major airport and who are able to travel up to 50% to support field operations, manufacturer partnerships, customer engagement, and business initiatives.
• Relationship-building skills: Ability to build trusted partnerships with customers, team members, manufacturers, and business partners.
• Strong communication and business acumen: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
