As the General Manager, CMET, you will develop, own, and execute our growth strategy within your industry, leading a world-class team to accelerate Toptal’s enterprise customer base. You will work closely with senior leadership to analyze opportunities and lead client relationships with Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities :
Lead a sales & client services team to expand Toptal’s market share in CMET industries. Develop and implement strategies to acquire prospects and deepen existing relationships. Serve as an executive sponsor, cultivating high-level relationships. Leverage your network to expand industry reach. Formulate hypotheses to drive go-to-market strategies and expand presence. Evaluate and evolve short- and long-term plans to position Toptal as a leading provider. Prioritize accounts and optimize engagement strategies. Develop account plans and industry insights. Review KPIs, provide guidance, and coach team members regularly. Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. 10+ years managing a business unit, with a strong understanding of operations. 5+ years leading professional services sales teams in CMET industries, with deep relationships. Experience building client portfolios of $20M+ and negotiating large enterprise projects. Understanding of emerging technologies and software delivery concepts. Experience in high-growth or operationally rigorous environments. Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Essential Job Functions :
Attend scheduled virtual meetings on camera. Work independently with minimal supervision. Use digital collaboration tools effectively. Manage workflows and deadlines proactively. Additional Details :
