About The Job: General Manager Colorado Springs
Position: General Manager
Summary: Manages all functions of the restaurant to ensure customer service and high-quality products are delivered, and ensures restaurant profitability. Responsible for the successful execution of fast and accurate sandwiches, world-class customer service, while maintaining a clean and organized shift.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a staff of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 25-30 employees. Assign, oversee, and evaluate work for compliance.
- Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees.
- Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
- Delegate and be responsible for ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies to minimize waste or theft.
- Assist in supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food.
- Forecast food items based on consumption estimates per shift.
- Supervise food preparation and service operations during shifts. Assist during rush periods to maintain efficiency.
- Assist in greeting customers, taking orders, using the cash register, assembling orders, and checking for accuracy.
- Ensure every customer receives world-class service.
- Route deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery business and speed.
- Complete daily food preparations and opening procedures.
- Execute systems and procedures with integrity and completeness.
- Accurately complete daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork.
- Control inventory using weekly inventory systems and maintain regular ordering schedules.
- Conduct weekly manager meetings.
- Audit systems, procedures, and shift-ending paperwork.
- Perform preventative maintenance on store equipment and supplies.
- Manage cash drawers, deposits, and change orders per procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Environment
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Strong math skills including fractions and percentages.
- Proficient with computers, including Excel and Word.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work 50-60 hours per week.
