Job description

Sodexo is seeking an experience General Manager / Chef Manager for Brown Health located in Providence, RI. This position will be responsible for a corporate cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday, as well as catering operations. The manager will oversee a small team of hourly employees.

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations in the cafeteria, overseeing hourly associates
  • deliver high quality food service
  • develop and maintain effective client and customer relationships
  • plan all menus and adjust accordingly with business needs, place orders / maintain inventory
  • meet all financial objectives for the account
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met

  • a strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management, purchasing, and inventory
  • ServSafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits
