Job summary

maman is seeking a General Manager for one of its café locations in Dallas. You will oversee daily operations, lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, drive profitability, and maintain maman’s hospitality standards.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will balance guest experience, team development, and financial performance to embody maman’s culture. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of leadership in hospitality, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with Toast and Harri.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, labor, and costs.
• Proficiency with Toast, Harri, and 3rd‑party delivery platforms.
• Valid food handler’s certification and commitment to food safety.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and service quality.
• Lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams (up to 25 employees).
• Hire, onboard, evaluate, and manage staff with proper documentation.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and ongoing coaching.
• Train new hires in HRIS and onboarding procedures.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors on SOPs, menus, and events.
