Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a General Manager in Pasadena to lead a high-performing bakery-cafe team and own daily operations. You will plan staffing needs, recruit and develop talent, and ensure exceptional guest service while upholding company standards and financial targets.

In this role you will drive performance, create a positive culture, and oversee costs, inventory, and compliance across shifts, including nights and weekends, to celebrate success together.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Background check required for offers.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery-cafe team, plan staffing, scheduling, and development.
• Hire, onboard, train, and motivate team members.
• Manage performance to meet goals, quality standards, and guest service expectations.
• Develop managers on Panera’s guiding values and processes.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and company initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and build loyal relationships.
• Maintain policies, safety, and inventory controls.
