Position: General Manager - Atlantic Tire Distributors

We are seeking a General Manager to join our Atlantic Tire Distributors team in Ridgeville, SC. As a General Manager, you will work for a successful, stable, and growing company with warehouses across Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Compensation: Competitive salary plus commission.

Role Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the distribution center in alignment with Colony Tire policies and guidelines.
• Plan and manage warehouse staff and delivery drivers to meet financial and quality targets.
• Manage personnel across warehouse, delivery, and administrative departments, including recruitment, discipline, grievances, training, and performance evaluations.
• Support business strategies by setting productivity and route profitability goals.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels meet demand and promotional needs.
• Manage local Accounts Receivable, including collections and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with IT to resolve technical issues.
• Support profit strategies by optimizing equipment, facilities, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (DOT, OSHA, ADA).
• Promote a professional image and uphold the company's reputation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong organization, planning, and time management skills.
• Understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership principles.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes, quality control, and distribution techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.

Work environment involves exposure to weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
