Job summary

Naniq Global Logistics in Lihue, Hawaii, seeks a highly motivated General Manager to lead the Amazon Gateway operation on Kauai. This fast-paced logistics leadership role focuses on developing teams, optimizing operations, and delivering exceptional service in a complex carrier environment.

The successful candidate oversees ground handling for Boeing 767 cargo, aircraft loading/unloading, package sortation, and USPS coordination; ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and high customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, or operations management.
• Strong background in operations management and distribution processes.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Experience with employee relations, workforce planning, and staffing coordination.
• Knowledge of TSA, DOT, regulatory compliance, safety and security procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Commercial driving and package sortation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of air cargo handling, package sortation, and linehaul transportation operations.
• Ensure achievement of customer service standards, operational KPIs, and contractual requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for supervisors and operational personnel.
• Partner with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure staffing and workforce readiness.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development.
