Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is representing a globally recognized Fortune 500 industrial manufacturing organization seeking a General Manager in New Jersey. The role reports to the Divisional Vice President and oversees 1000+ staff with full P&L accountability for a $1.2B operation.

This high-visibility position requires 5 days onsite. You will drive KPI development, cost control, and cross-functional leadership across multiple projects to meet profitability and growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, related technical field, or accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years of full Profit/Loss accountability.
• Strong financial acumen is required.
• 10+ years of Plant Operations/Manufacturing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Divisional Vice President while managing 1000+ employees and staff.
• Complete Profit/Loss accountability over a $1.2B group.
• Provide direction and leadership aligned with goals and plans.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure on-time, under-budget delivery.
• Track and develop departmental KPIs and deliverables.
• Drive problem solving for plant and customer issues.
• Develop HI-POT talent with staff development.
• Interface with customers and the Commercial Sales group.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments.

This $1.2B operation that has experienced back to back years of record profitability and top line growth with an EBITA of 35%. Reporting to the Group Vice President, this position has been labeled as a \"high visibility\" role within the company.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the Divisional Vice President while managing 1000+ employees and functional staff.


• Complete Profit/Loss accountability (control and optimize costs) over $1.2B group.


• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.


• Oversee multiple projects to ensure on time/under budget.


• Track and develop departmental KPI's and deliverables.


• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.


• Work closely with staff to development \"HI-POT \" talent


• Interface with customers and Commercial Sales group.


• Work cross functionally with other departments.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration (preference for Engineering, related Technical Field, or Accounting/Finance.).


• Candidate needs at least 3-5 years of FULL PROFIT/LOSS accountability.


• Strong Financial acumen is required.


• 10+ years of Plant Operations/Manufacturing leadership.
