Job summary

Sky Limit Systems is seeking a Vice President / General Manager to own full P&L and day‑to‑day operations at a South Florida aerospace site. The role reports to executive leadership and spans Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales & BD, Product Support, Finance, and HR.

The site designs and manufactures aerospace electronics with end‑to‑end capabilities in a self‑contained facility, offering leadership with significant impact on growth and performance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace or high‑reliability manufacturing.
• Senior P&L ownership of a $50M+ business/unit.
• Experience leading engineering‑intensive, low‑volume/high‑mix manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of FAA/AS9100 and export‑control compliance.
• Domestic/international travel required; passport valid.

• Lead the functional leadership team; drive accountability and organizational development.

We're an aerospace electronics manufacturer with full in-house design-to-production capability and approximately $120M in annual revenue, is seeking a Vice President / General Manager to own full P&L and day-to-day operational performance at one of their manufacturing sites. This is a senior site leadership role reporting to executive/group leadership, with accountability across Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales & Business Development, Product Support, Finance, and HR.

About the Business

The site designs and manufactures electronic control systems and interface solutions for commercial and business aviation platforms, with end-to-end manufacturing and aftermarket/product support capabilities under one roof.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full P&L performance - revenue, bookings, operating income, cash flow, working capital, headcount - against the annual operating plan
• Lead the functional leadership team; drive accountability, succession planning, and organizational development
• Oversee engineering and program execution from proposal through certification and entry into service
• Drive operational excellence across production, supply chain, and continuous improvement
• Ensure quality/regulatory compliance (AS9100D, applicable FAA/international airworthiness requirements, export controls)

• Working knowledge of FAA/international airworthiness requirements, AS9100, and export-control compliance
• Domestic/international travel required; valid passport required
