Job summary

Dynaire, a Crete United company, is seeking a General Manager to run day-to-day operations and lead the service department across the tri-state area from Mineola, NY. You will own P&L, drive revenue, and oversee field technicians with a focus on growth and quality.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial HVAC management in the tri-state region, proven leadership, and experience in service management or sales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years management experience in the commercial HVAC industry in the tri-state region.
• Previous service management or service sales experience.
• Commercial HVAC technical knowledge gained through experience as a technician, estimator, project manager, engineer, or operations/service manager.
• Previous experience leading teams of 10 or more people.
• Prior P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership and concise communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Build long-term business relationships with clients, vendors, sub-contractors and partner companies within the Crete portfolio.

Position Summary

General Manager is responsible for running day-to-day business operations and will directly lead the service department performing commercial HVAC services throughout the tri-state area based in Mineola, NY. In addition, the General Manager has full P&L ownership and is accountable for achieving budgeted sales and profit goals. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and significant commercial HVAC operational experience in the tri-state market. This position will report to our Regional VP of Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Previousservice management or service sales experience

• Commercial HVAC technical knowledge gained through experience as a technician (sheet metal, pipefitter, service tech), estimator, project manager, engineer, or operations/service manager.

• Previousexperience leading teams of 10 or more people

• Previousexperience in a P&L responsible role

• Able to effectively motivate teams and individuals with clear and concise communication

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Work, Excel, etc.)
