Role Description

The General Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategy, and growth of Civil Engineering Study. This role involves coordinating content planning and publication, managing daily workflows, and aligning the platform’s offerings with the needs of civil engineering professionals and students. The General Manager will lead and support team members, manage budgets and resources, and establish processes that improve efficiency and quality. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring performance metrics, guiding marketing and audience engagement initiatives, ensuring consistency and accuracy of educational content, and fostering partnerships with industry professionals and academic institutions. The role also requires regular reporting to stakeholders and continuous improvement of the platform’s services and user experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing remote teams, setting priorities, and driving projects to completion.


• Strategic planning and organizational skills, with the ability to develop and implement operational processes and growth initiatives.


• Background or strong familiarity with civil engineering or related technical fields, enabling effective oversight of educational and technical content.


• Business and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
