The Civil Project Manager manages one or more projects and is accountable for meeting financial, schedule, quality, and safety objectives. Key responsibilities include contract administration, scheduling, planning, cost control, and coordination with jobsite supervision to ensure each project is completed safely and in accordance with its design, budget, and schedule. The Project Manager also coordinates with the Superintendent on labor, equipment, subcontractors, material suppliers, and construction methods to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The Project Manager is also responsible for building effective relationships and problem solving with the project team members, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. This position is office and field based with some travel to job sites and client meetings.

Candidates must be willing to work at remote sites and must have at least five years of relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business, Soil Sciences, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Field experience in heavy civil construction or equivalent work experience is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of project management, scheduling, and estimating.
