Job summary

Volarify (an Amsys Company) in Tacoma seeks a dynamic General Manager to own and scale a high-performing DFH branch. You will drive strategy, culture, and market growth with clear P&L responsibility and executive visibility.

You’ll oversee Revenue and EBITDA, lead operations across Sales, Project Management and Production, mentor leaders, and build long-term client partnerships with general contractors and owners in the Tacoma area.

• 10+ years in the Door, Frame & Hardware industry (Division 8/10/28).
• Background in Operations and Project Management.
• Strong leadership presence and executive communication skills.
• Financial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.

What You’ll Own

As General Manager, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader of the branch, responsible for performance, culture, and market growth.

Strategic & Financial Leadership

• Full ownership of Revenue and EBITDA performance
• Drive sales forecasting, profitability, and margin improvement
• Analyze financial performance and implement growth strategies
• Maintain contract integrity and minimize risk exposure

Operational Excellence

• Lead DFH distribution and service operations
• Ensure seamless coordination between Sales, Project Management, and Production
• Oversee change order management and operational efficiency
• Foster continuous improvement and best-practice implementation
• Build and lead high-performing teams
• Mentor Project Managers and department leaders
• Develop succession plans and invest in staff development

Market & Client Leadership

• Serve as the face of the organization in the Tacoma market
• Strengthen relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, and vendors
• Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion
