Qualifications

Overview

Texas HR Team is conducting a search for a General Manager to lead a fast-growing youth fitness and development center. This role is ideal for someone who is competitive in sales, experienced in leadership, and energized by creating a positive impact on kids and families while driving strong business results.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all daily center operations, ensuring culture, safety, and an exceptional experience for families and team members.
• Drive membership growth through outbound calls (50+ calls/day typical), trial conversions, and community engagement.
• Manage financial performance, including P&L oversight, KPIs, and profitability.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing coaching team.
• Build meaningful relationships with families and serve as the welcoming face of the center.
• Support and occasionally coach classes, bringing energy and passion to each session.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience (must LOVE sales!), with proven success hitting and exceeding goals.
• Previous management or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident speaking with parents and team members.
• Comfortable working in a physically active environment (moving equipment, assisting kids with safe technique, on your feet much of the day).
• Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace; prior experience with GloFox, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, or Gusto a plus.
• CPR certified (or willingness to obtain).
• Prior pediatric OT/PT or fitness/wellness background is a bonus.
