This role is part of a $14M+ operation where you will lead daily operations, develop a large management and hourly team, and drive guest experience, service standards, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven AGM or senior restaurant management experience.
• San Francisco restaurant experience is required.
• Experience in a high-volume $14M+ restaurant operation preferred.
• Ability to lead large teams and manage complex operations.
• Strong financial and operational understanding.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside GM in leading all day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Take ownership of key areas of the operation while preparing for the GM transition.
• Lead, coach, and develop a large management and hourly team.
• Drive service standards, guest experience, and operational consistency.
• Support labour, food costs, inventory, scheduling, and financial performance.
• Recruit, training, and developing future leaders.
• Monitor KPIs and use data to drive decisions.
• Build relationships with guests and the local community.
• Work closely with senior leadership to improve performance and growth.

We're partnered with a high-volume restaurant in San Francisco looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team, with a clear path to step into the General Manager role next year.

This is a significant $14M+ operation, so we're looking for a proven operator who is comfortable in a high-volume environment and ready to take on increasing responsibility.

Local San Francisco restaurant experience is a must. We're looking for someone who understands the market, knows the local talent pool, and can make an immediate impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working alongside GM in leading all day-to-day restaurant operations
• Taking ownership of key areas of the operation while preparing for the GM transition
• Leading, coaching, and developing a large management and hourly team
• Driving service standards, guest experience, and operational consistency
• Supporting labour, food costs, inventory, scheduling, and financial performance
• Recruiting, training, and developing future leaders
• Monitoring KPIs and using data to drive operational decisions
• Building strong relationships with guests and the local community
