Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Salon Manager – San Francisco, CA

Full-Time | $120,000–$140,000 per year + Discretionary Bonus

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead a high-performing luxury retail team in San Francisco. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and a full benefits package. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong background in luxury retail, a deep understanding of sales and client development, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

  • Salary: $120,000–$140,000 (based on experience)
  • Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus (paid bi-annually; structure TBD)
  • Dental & Vision: 100% employer-paid
  • 401(k): Employer match up to 6%
  • PTO: Accrued monthly, up to 18 days/year (prorated first year)
  • Benefits effective after 1 month of employment

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive achievement of annual sales goals through strategic planning and team motivation
  • Monitor sales performance, forecast projections, and manage pending sales and invoicing
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand local client base

Client Experience & Engagement:

  • Ensure a luxury-level, personalized experience for all clients and prospects
  • Lead clienteling efforts and implement programs to strengthen relationships and loyalty
  • Partner with marketing to support local events and increase salon visibility
  • Manage a front-of-house team including sales executives, operations staff, and salon assistants
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff while overseeing performance and career development
  • Set and communicate clear objectives and expectations across departments
  • Ensure visual presentation and product displays meet brand standards
  • Communicate regularly with merchandising to ensure optimal inventory and assortments
  • Utilize sell-through data and feedback to influence assortment decisions

Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee all store operations including inventory management, policy adherence, and security
  • Manage inbound and outbound product transfers and vault procedures
  • Ensure compliance with operational protocols from finance to loss prevention

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in luxury retail, preferably in fine jewelry, timepieces, or high-end fashion
  • Strong analytical, communication, and team-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple personalities and maintain a collaborative, goal-driven culture
  • Proficiency in luxury client service standards and operational excellence
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with gemstones, jewelry, and timepiece product knowledge a plu
