Job Overview

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This includes setting the restaurant’s goals, creating plans to achieve them, and leading a team of Department Managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the restaurant’s short‑ and long‑term business plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build an effective team.
• Set performance goals for departments, monitor progress, and implement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all McDonald’s operational and quality standards.
• Manage financial performance, including budget, labor costs, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume quick‑service restaurants.
• Strong background in hospitality, retail, or a related field.
• Minimum age 18 years for a manager in a corporate‑owned restaurant.
