Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a small portfolio of commercial properties on-site. • Proven track record of managing P&L responsibility and achieving financial targets in a multi-million dollar operation.
• Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and business development within the commercial real estate sector.
• Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in real estate management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Real Estate License and Property Managers License, required within six (6) months if not currently licensed.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field
• Professional certifications such as LEED GA, or equivalent industry credentials
• Strong network of industry relationships and demonstrated thought leadership in real estate

What this job involves:

JLL is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a small portfolio of commercial properties in Mobile. In this role, you'll bring proven property management expertise to ensure safe, seamless operations for our client and on-site tenants, while leading a small, dedicated team to deliver exceptional service every day. As the General Manager, you'll serve as the driving force behind each property's success, managing operations while consistently delivering strong financial results and operational excellence. You'll partner directly with clients to understand their investment goals and translate them into property-specific strategic plans, then bring those plans to life by guiding your team through the execution of approved initiatives and programs. Along the way, you'll build lasting relationships with building owners and tenants, serving as a trusted point of contact and ensuring every interaction reflects JLL's commitment to exceptional service. The team sits on-site at one of the properties and the GM will visit other sites frequently.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead strategic planning initiatives and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion
• Develop and implement annual operating budgets and capital plans and ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting
• Analyze financial performance, prepare detailed reports, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards across all managed operations
• Implement tenant satisfaction program, meet regularly with tenants to ensure successful program
• Oversee competitive bidding process for all third-party contracted services and ensure compliance with JLL standards
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, supporting team members' career advancement and skill enhancement
• All other tasks which may be required to comply with Property Management Agreements, local ordinances, or as necessary to ensure property operations

Required qualifications:
