Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• 2–3 years leadership experience in car wash, retail, hospitality, and/or service operations.
• Car wash operations experience strongly preferred.
• Strong sales, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily tunnel car wash operations with focus on guest experience and memberships.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members.
• Maintain uptime via preventative maintenance and quick equipment issue resolution.
• Drive membership sales and service revenue through customer engagement.
• Manage labor, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming facility; use POS and reporting tools.

Tunnel Car Wash General Manager – Splash In

Location: Southern, MD
Pay: $64,000 - $77,000 annually + up to 20% annual bonus
Pay Type: Salaried | Benefits Eligible
Operating Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily (additional time required for opening/closing procedures and occasional on‑call support)

Splash In ECO Car Wash is looking for a General Manager to lead operations at our La Plata, MD location. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the wash, develop a strong team, drive membership sales, and ensure every guest receives a fast, clean, and friendly experience.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily tunnel car wash operations including team leadership, membership sales, and guest experience.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members.
• Maintain operational uptime through preventative maintenance and quick resolution of equipment issues.
• Drive membership sales and service revenue through strong customer engagement.
• Manage financial performance including labor, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming facility for guests and team members.
• Utilize POS systems and operational tools for reporting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory management.

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in car wash, retail, hospitality, and/or service operations.
• Car wash operations experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Technical or mechanical experience related to equipment maintenance is a strong plus.
• Strong sales, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
