Hotel Equities is seeking a dynamic General Manager for the 97-room Courtyard Jonesboro, AR. The GM will lead hotel operations, drive revenue, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while guiding a team of associates.

As the authentic leader, you will mentor staff, maintain brand standards, and align with corporate goals. This full-time role requires strategic thinking and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for director-level roles.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience appropriate to the position.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred for management roles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound operational decisions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
• Drive financial performance by supporting revenue, profitability, labor, and market-share objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction for assigned hotel operations and associates.
• Set clear expectations and monitor performance, productivity, and service standards.
• Coach, train, develop, and recognize associates to support engagement and retention.
• Monitor operational and financial performance and take appropriate action to achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with Hotel Equities standards, brand requirements, and company policies.
• Respond effectively to guest concerns and support a consistent service-recovery culture.
• Manage schedules, staffing, supplies, and departmental resources as appropriate.
• Review reports, trends, and key performance information to support sound decisions.
• Communicate effectively with hotel leadership and other departments.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

Physical Requirements
