Job summary

Postino Winecafe in Gilbert, AZ seeks a General Manager to drive guest experience, people leadership and financial performance. You will lead a high-performing team, uphold brand standards, and manage store operations to achieve profitability.

The role requires ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Certifications and 1 year GM or 3–5 years service-industry leadership. Hospitality or business degree is preferred; we value collaboration and community presence.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant General Manager experience or 3-5 years of service industry management experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
• ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop, and engineer high-performing store leadership teams.
• Attract, retain, and grow talent across all levels, conducting performance reviews.
• Foster engagement through open communication, recognition, and team-building initiatives.
• Lead effective store communication and ensure smooth adoption of change initiatives.
• Uphold brand standards, systems, and execution to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Own full P&L accountability and drive sustained profitability.
• Use scorecards and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and improvements.
• Collaborate with ADs and the Lab to address local store needs and optimize operations.

Requirements

• The position requires 1 year of full-service restaurant General Manager experience or 3-5 years of service industry management experience. Internal candidates must be in good standing and free of performance issues within a 1-year time-period. Combined work experience and education will be considered in decisions.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
