Job summary

Beyond Catering in Flossmoor, IL seeks a General Manager in Training to lead a high-volume restaurant operation and develop future leaders through hands-on management experience. This role emphasizes sales growth, cost control, HR, and training to prepare you for the Managing Partner Program.

You will oversee a multi-person team, implement company standards, and drive guest satisfaction while aligning with our family-oriented culture and scalable business model.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift
• Ability to work with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials

• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses
