Job summary

Role Description

The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at Brothers Bar & Grill in Columbus, OH. This role oversees daily restaurant and bar operations, including staffing, scheduling, and supervising team members to ensure consistent, high-quality guest service. The General Manager manages financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and cash handling, while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of staff, fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture, and ensuring that food quality, beverage presentation, and overall cleanliness meet brand standards. The General Manager also handles guest relations, resolves escalated issues, supports marketing and promotions, and works with company leadership to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Restaurant and bar operations experience, including front-of-house and back-of-house oversight, inventory control, and cash management.
