Job summary

Prospect Capital Restaurants seeks a hands-on Restaurant General Manager for a Wingstop location in New Jersey. You will lead front and back-of-house teams, uphold brand standards, and drive operations for fast, flavorful service.

You will be responsible for P&L, labor/food cost control, and building a positive store culture. Open availability and 48–60 hour weeks are required; a strong focus on training and growth is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years leadership in restaurant teams.
• 2+ years responsibility for financial results.
• 2-3 years as a Restaurant General Manager.
• Flexible and adaptable with a drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and staff performance.
• Hire, train, schedule, and mentor team members.
• Analyze profit and loss and manage labor/food costs.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to achieve targets.

Qualifications for the job

• Open availability (including holidays, weekends, opening and closing shifts) - Required
• FOH and BOH management experience
• Hands on working Manager with some previous kitchen management experience preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of previous team leadership experience in the restaurant industry
• 2+ years responsibility for financial results
• 2-3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager
• True desire to learn, grow and succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and adaptable
• Ability/flexibility to work 48-60 hours per week
• Ability to set goals, create action plans, and implement those plans
• Valid Driver’s license/Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant
• Build sales, increase profitability, control labor/food costs

• Work in tandem with the District Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store

• Reviews performance of employees and enforce policies and procedures
• Performs regular restaurant inspections to ensure team and restaurant are meeting standards

• Ability to control cash, property, product inventory, and equipment
