O’Fallon Township High School District #203 is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker to support safe, functional, and well‑maintained facilities for our students and staff. This position plays an essential role in maintaining a learning environment that is secure, efficient, and welcoming.
The Maintenance Worker performs hands‑on repairs, preventive maintenance, and responds to facility needs across District buildings and grounds. The work is varied and requires initiative, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.
This role works as part of a facilities team under the direction of the Director of Facilities and contributes directly to the daily operation and long‑term upkeep of District property.

We are looking for someone with familiarity in maintenance and repair procedures across the building trades, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, roofing, and related areas. You should be comfortable operating the hand tools and power tools commonly used in this work, familiar with building systems such as HVAC, fire suppression, security, and communications, and able to work independently in a busy school facility.
