Job Summary

FSI is looking to hire a General Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Responsibilities Include (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

• Replaces belts and filters on air handling units.
• Uses plaster/compound to patch minor holes/cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Repairs and replaces sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Paints structures and equipment as required.
• Repairs concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Inspects and repairs damaged interior infrastructure surfaces as needed.
• Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Follows company safety, health, and accident prevention protocols and maintains records accordingly.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass a local background check and obtain/maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire.
• Valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces; assist team members; perform other duties as qualified.
