Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC, Low Voltage, Electrical, Plumbing, and general contracting tasks inside and outside the physical plant.
• Order, maintain, and account for materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure safety and code compliance with state, local, and district regulations.
• Assist in repairs such as refrigeration, roofing, electrical, masonry, and more.
• Recommends supplies and maintains inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years’ experience in HVAC, Low Voltage, Electrician, Plumbing, or General Contracting (Plumbing preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and drawings.
• Ability to estimate materials and write routine reports.

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks including climbing, bending, and working at heights.

Work Environment & Demands

• Strenuous physical activity and occasional poor weather conditions.

Additional Information

Terms of employment: 240 days/year, 8 hours/day, Non-exempt, salary based on education and experience.

Performance evaluations are conducted annually.
