Job summary

Seneca Resources in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Back General Maintenance Technician to perform PMs and repairs on commercial/industrial facility equipment. The role requires strong communication and a proactive ownership attitude, with cross-training under a flow-to-work approach.

Requires a High School diploma, 4 years of related maintenance experience, and licenses (driver’s, forklift, JLG). Shift is 1st, Mon–Fri 7:00am–4:00pm; pay is competitive based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; preference for some business/trade school training.
• 4 years’ experience or training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or carpentry maintenance; equivalent combinations accepted.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift/JLG operator licenses required.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools and read/building systems.
• Able to operate forklifts, scissor lifts and aerial lifts; strong communication skills.

Back General Maintenance Technician

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Contract To Hire

Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Shift: 1st Shift – Mon to Fri (7:00am to 4:00 pm)

Job Summary: In a safe, efficient, and professional manner the Maintenance Technician II completes required PM's and repairs commercial and industrial facility equipment. The technician is an excellent communicator and has exceptional follow through capabilities. This position will be crossed trained and utilize a “flow to the work” concept. The technician will exhibit an ownership attitude.

Qualifications

• Education (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.) High School diploma (or equivalent) required, preference given to those with some undergraduate business or trade school training.
• (Prior work-related experience) 4 years’ experience and/or training including the application of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry skills/concepts required. An equivalent combination of training, education, and manufacturing maintenance experience is acceptable.
• Licenses/Certifications Valid driver’s license, Fork truck operator’s license, JLG operator’s license required
• Technical Qualifications & Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Ability to use hand and small/large power tools
• Able to disassemble/reassemble fixtures, fans, pumps, and HVAC equipment and other building related equipment

• Able to demonstrate an understanding of building systems and operation including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Life Safety Systems, building envelope.
• Able to competently operate a forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift
