Seneca Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Corning, NY facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and repairs, following a flow-to-work approach and strong communication with site leads.
Responsibilities include PM activities, repairs to pumps, valves, electrical and pneumatic devices, building repairs, lighting, and dock equipment, with cross-training and a proactive ownership mindset.

Shift: 1st Shift Mon - Fri
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
The maintenance technician will complete required PM and repairs on the client’s facility equipment. This position will be crossed trained and utilize a "flow to the work" concept. The successful technician will be an excellent communicator and have exceptional follow up capabilities. The technician will exhibit an ownership attitude.
Education (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.) Two to five years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Business Experience (prior years work/related experience) Two to five years mechanical experience.
Licenses/Certifications Valid driver’s license, Fork truck operator’s license, JLG operator’s license.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions operating and maintenance instructions, and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations of customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
